Interakt is a WhatsApp-based multiplayer client that enables teams to manage and respond to thousands of WhatsApp chats built using the WhatsApp Business API.
I helped Interakt reposition and refresh their brand as they prepared to onboard the next wave of businesses in India and beyond.

One of the main challenges during the refresh was a communication gap between our perceived target users and the reality of users with varying 'tech tolerability'.
We repositioned the brand from a feature-heavy technical solution to a user-friendly platform that 'hand held' low tech-tolerant business owners to sell, support and market on WhatsApp.





Inspired by ubiquitous chat bubbles, we aimed at creating a simple and accessible visual language that was obvious in it's character read and clearly functioning as a WhatsApp adjacent entity.
This enabled the sole designer and non-designer stakeholders an easy way to use and expand the brand.






Founders and small business owners in India rely on reputation and the wisdom of their peers. Celebrating them became a cornerstone in the brand's evolving strategy.
Gaining overwhelmingly positive results with this, we doubled down with monthly in-person events, tailor made demos and feature videos showcasing the rising tide of innovative companies and the people behind them.





Beyond the visual refresh on the site, we took this opportunity to conduct a UX audit and straighten out the main flows for signing up and getting a demo, for the intended audiences.
This resulted in higher conversions, reduced dropoffs, more demos given and deeper engagement.
